Join us as we go through the Government of Alberta Abuse Prevention and Response Protocol training including how to recruit respite workers. In this session you will learn about what abuse is, the different types of abuse and how recognize the different potential signs. You will also learn different ways to mitigate the potential for abuse and how to report it if it does occur. In this session you will also learn how to recruit respite workers, from how to post the position, interview, and what how to set up the respite role for success.
This training session is required by anyone who is an Family Managed Service Administrator (FMS0 and anyone working in the Human Services industry. You will receive a link to receive your certificate of participation at the end of the session.
