Sensory Processing

Recorded May 30, 2022. Sensory processing describes the way the body receives and interprets incoming stimuli through our senses. Our sensory systems play an important role in our ability to engage in the world around us. This session explains what sensory processing is.

Brianna Wilson (she/her) is an occupational therapist currently registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT) and the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC). She has experience working with clients of all ages in both BC and Alberta. Brianna has worked with many autistic individuals and their families in many different settings. Her passion for creating inclusive environments is inspired by her personal and professional experience with individuals
