Transition to Adulthood: Live with Q&A

Recorded December 5, 2023. As youth move toward a transition to adulthood, families have questions about services that may be offered and available to them. Being aware of these services, understanding how they work, then knowing how to access them can offer confidence and relief to families.

In this presentation, we discuss information about accessing the Alberta system of support services for families who care for a loved one with a disability.

  • Alberta Supports online accounts, including Disability Application Process (DAP)
  • Persons with Developmental Disabilities PDD
  • Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped AISH
  • Guardianship and Trusteeship
