As youth move towards adulthood, families have questions about services that may be offered and available to them. Being aware of these services, understanding how they work, then knowing how to access them can offer confidence and relief to families.
In this presentation, we discuss information about accessing the Alberta system of support services for families who care for a loved one with a disability.

About the Presenter
Lorna Selig has worked in the disability services sector for many years. She is known for creating programs and systems for families who are navigating the emerging adult years. With a comprehensive understanding of the process, Lorna is well acquainted with the questions that families have and can support them to navigate through often overwhelming government documents. She is always pleased to share her knowledge of these systems with Albertans in her easy-to-understand style.
